I have recently graduated in biology at the University of Bristol and on the weekends I work at a local pet shop! I have always had a passion for animals of all sizes. I personally have two elderly dogs whom I have fully cared for and trained since they were puppies. As well as this, I have previously spent 2 years volunteering weekly at Vigil German Shepherd Dog Rescue where I was responsible for walking, rehabilitating and caring for the animals within their facilities. As part of this role I was able to practice meeting and developing relationships with new dogs whilst retaining an awareness of their respective behavioural issues. In recent years I have also completed work experience at a veterinary practice and therefore have experience with a range of different pets. I have also taken care of smaller animals e.g. guinea pigs, hamsters and cats.
