I'm a Yoga instructor who also utilizes my Yogi practice with pets to help create a sense of peace and promote balance that makes for a happy, Zen-like dog ;) No dog is left out while with me! Any breed, size, age, or handicap is welcome in my heart and my home. My ZenDog Assistant, Abbey Rose, is a very well trained and sweet Beagle who assists with welcoming new dog friends into our home and on our adventures. On walks, she tends to bring out the best in our guests, as well as others we may meet on the way! For over twenty years, I have loved, walked, trained, fed, played, hiked, snuggled, ran, biked, (and of course) slept alongside these lovely creatures. Ive grown up with dogs my entire life. In fact, I think I can relate with them more than humans most of the time! I understand dog pack mentality and how dogs function through instict; Exercise, Food, Affection. Not neccesarily always in that order! Watching how they play at the dog park is something I could do all day if possible. They have so much to teach us if we pay attention!
