RETURNING GUESTS: We have recently moved to a new home in Roswell, about 12 minutes from our old Woodstock address! We are Lauren and Blake! Penny's Pet Palace was inspired by Lauren’s childhood Dachshund, Penny, who was paralyzed below the waist for most of her life. Penny gave Lauren a big heart for dogs with special needs as well as seniors. Penny’s Pet Palace is fully insured and bonded for pet boarding. Lauren does Rover sitting full time, and Blake works from home, so your pups will have someone with them 24/7! We have 2 wonderful babies, Sadie (15) and Groot (9). They are well-socialized as we have watched dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities over the years. They tend be lazy and keep to themselves once everyone is settled in. We have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to play, and a deck and patio that are perfect for sunbathing. All yard time is supervised by a human to ensure no escape attempts. For those that need extra exercise, we are 5 minutes from Leita Thompson park which has a dog park and plenty of walking trails. Inside, guests have free reign of the house and are welcome on furniture. We will use spare rooms and baby gates to separate pups as needed for feeding, bedtime, or if someone needs a little break from the pack. We do not crate your pet unless that is part of their normal at-home routine. There are security cameras in the main kitchen/living areas that we use to check in if we are both out of the house at anytime, and we have an armed security system to help ensure our safety and your fur babies’. We always do meet & greets and consider the mix of different dogs before accepting new bookings to ensure your pet will be with a good pack. Pet information for other bookings that overlap your stay can be provided as needed. In the event that a meet & greet comes during your pet’s stay, the meet & greet pet will not interact with your pet at all.
