Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs, pet sitting was my first job, and have had my own dog since she was a puppy. To me, spending time with an animal is an excellent way to spend a day, and there are no kinder spirits than an animal.

Lauren provided last minute day care for our rambunctious 6 month old pup. Our schedules didn’t quite align but she worked with us to figure out a solution so that it would work for everyone, which we really appreciated.
Lauren was AMAZING, and we were so grateful to have found such a warm, friendly, and caring person to watch our pup while we went away. She sent us regular updates and photos, gave Roscoe plenty of attention and exercise, and allowed us to completely enjoy our trip knowing he was in such great hands. Roscoe became best buds with Lauren’s dog, Roo, and we loved that he was having so much fun and socializing while we were away. We will definitely be reaching out to Lauren next time we make travel plans!

If your dog stays at my house, I will treat them just as I would treat my own. Lots of cuddles or hugs (as long as they like that), constant playing in our fenced in yard, and walks around the neighborhood. My dog is extremely friendly and socialized with other dogs, and she loves having friends over!

It is great if you can tell me any of your dogs preferences so I can make them feel calm, happy, and at home. Also, if your dog has any dislikes or activities I should avoid, it is super helpful to know that before hand!
A typical day
I love walking dogs around my neighborhood because there are dog parks, open run areas, and lots of dog friendly shops. Additionally, I love going to the beach with my dog (as long as an owner is ok with that). Bare minimum, I like to sit in the fenced in backyard and throw the ball to get some quick energy out.

Availability
I own my own dog, so I am always caring for a pet. My boyfriend works from home, so she is hardly alone. When we leave her alone, it is never for more than a few hours; we prefer to take her with us. My weekends are very open and relaxed when I am in town and I am a teacher, so my summers are completely free.
