Pet care experience
I have had animals my entire life - my mom was the type to bring home a surprise addition to the family every now and then. I currently dog sit for many different pups of all ages. I am very happy to make the needs of the dog my priority when dog sitting. They get multiple walks a day (if that's something they enjoy), approved treats, and lots of love. Having an owner away can be a stressful time for a dog, so I try to mitigate that stress and keep them distracted with fun things! I can do long stays, weekend sitting, or just dog walking depending on what you're looking for!

Lauren was really sweet and took great care of my Blue. He was so happy when I picked him up, and it wasn’t a “Thank Goodness you’re here to rescue me!” happiness—he was truly cared for, enjoyed, & spoiled. I will look for Lauren to take care of Blue next time I need someone. She’s the best!!
I absolutely trust Lauren with my fur baby and my home. Our dog has a history of eating things he is not supposed to, and getting sick as a result. Lauren watched him like a hawk, and loved on him so much. He had adventures to the park, and I know there were quite a few snuggle sessions! There was one day where he refused his breakfast, and Lauren alerted me right away. We texted about what to watch for, and next steps to take if things didn't progress as normal. I loved that she was on alert for anything out of the norm. Our home was immaculate when we returned! We will definitely ask Lauren to help us out for our future trips.
Lauren is a fantastic dog sitter. She came highly recommended and has lived up to her great reputation. We’ve had Lauren dog sit on several occasions, and each time she’s been easy to communicate with, has taken extra special care of our pup, has left the house clean, and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We can’t give her a higher recommendation!

When boarding a dog in my home, I make sure to give them time to get comfortable around me and comfortable in the house and yard. I make sure they are well supervised in the beginning and make time for them to do things they enjoy and that they aren't feeling too stressed or out of place. When in a client's home, I do many of the same things, with more focus on letting them get used to me.

I am happy to discuss any special needs your dog has ahead of time and get specifics for care during a meet and greet. Food allergies, any medications, and general behavior of your dog is great to know ahead of time. For example, do they do well off leash in some areas? How are they with other dogs?
A typical day
I love walks just as much as most dogs, so I am happy to take them out frequently to explore and sniff! At home it's snuggles, snacks, and play time. Outside of that, special activities like park time for fetch or hikes are always a good go-to if you and your pup are comfortable with that!

I just moved to the area and am currently unemployed but will be seeking part time work soon. That makes my schedule very open as of now, and I'll be able to take care of your pet with no scheduling challenges. Plenty of time for walks, exploration, and one on one time.
