Pet care experience
I would do anything to have a dog in the city, but of course a tiny apartment and a persnickety cat means I don't have the capacity to take care of one myself. I've been raised with dogs and am currently one of the only people in my circle of friends without one, which means I've become the default babysitter, and I love it! I'm comfortable with dogs of any size and breed, and love a weekend where I have an excuse to go for long walks and take lots of naps, so some of my favorite weekends are ones where I'm watching my nieces or nephew. I work odd jobs, but any spare time I can take to help someone's fur baby feel loved (or at least feel relieved they won't be yelled at for peeing on something that shouldn't be peed on), i am happy to do just that!

I do not have breed preferences - except for one dog growing up who tried to bite any humans that went near him (as in, within 100 yards), I've never met a dog I didn't like or want to take home with me. I think owners are better qualified at knowing they key details about the dog. I suppose any food quirks would be the most helpful - if your dog is really into paper, for instance, it'll help me remember to shut the bathroom door and therefore access to toilet paper treats!
A typical day
If I know the dog well enough in terms of their demeanor with other dogs, I LOVE to take dogs to the dog park and watch them off-leash - watching a dog run around with new friends is too cute. Regardless, I'm a huge fan of the city parks and river walks, and also just walking around the city! So depending on the activity level of the dog, I promise s/he and I will take plenty of adventures and stay active!
