I only work a few hours in the morning (9-12), so my schedule is pretty flexible — I can often accommodate daytime, evening, or even last-minute pet care needs. I’m currently available for daytime, evening, and weekend bookings.

I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own home, so I’m happy to care for your dog or cat in their familiar space while you’re away. That said, if you'd prefer your pet stays with me, I do have a safe, fenced-in front yard that's great for larger dogs to get some playtime and fresh air. Inside, your pet will be treated like part of the family — couches are fair game (as long as you’re cool with it!), and my whole family will be happy to shower your pet with love, snuggles, and attention.

What should I avoid? 🐾 Personality & Behavior – Are they shy, social, high-energy, or more chill? Any fears (like thunder or skateboards)? How do they react to other dogs? 🐾 Commands or Tricks They Know – I’m happy to practice commands with them! 🐾 Medical Info – Any meds, chronic conditions, or emergency vet contacts? 🐾 House Rules – Are pets allowed on furniture? Any off-limits rooms or routines you’d like me to follow? 🐾 Socialization Needs – Are they okay seeing other dogs or people on walks? 🐾 Contact Info & Emergency Plan – Just in case!
A typical day
When I’m with your pet, it’s all about making them feel happy, loved, and entertained. We’ll play catch, go for walks, and if your pup knows any tricks, I’m happy to help them practice. Expect plenty of belly rubs, petting, gentle massage, and lots of cuddle time — strictly platonic, of course! Whether they’re high-energy or more of a couch potato, I’ll match their vibe and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you're away.

Hi! I’m Lauren — a lifelong animal lover with decades of hands-on pet care experience. I grew up in a home that always had dogs (usually three!), and I started dog-sitting back in college in the early 2000s. One of my favorite long-term clients had a huge white German Shepherd who growled at everyone. By evening on day one, he was upside down in my lap, getting a belly rub! I had two beloved dogs of my own for 15 years, and now that I have two young kids (and no current pets), I’m looking to share my love with your furry (or scaly!) family member. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or snuggle time, I’ll treat your pet like my own. Dogs, cats, snakes, bunnies — you name it, I love them all. 💛 If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to help care for your pet while you’re away!

Lauren is the best pet sitter I could have asked for and I am so happy I found her. She and her family were fantastic and provided a warm and caring environment for my 15yr old pup. Lauren sent photos and updates at least once a day. I no longer worry about traveling and having to leave my pup behind; she’ll be in good hands in Lauren’s loving home.
Lauren B and family provided the most excellent care for our Golden Retriever Winston. It was a treat to get daily pictures too. We could tell Winston was one happy and calm dog when we picked him up.
Lauren and her family are nothing short of fantastic. They watched our 14 year old pupper, Duke, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was our first time using a pet sitter, so we were a bit nervous- but Lauren and her family made it such a positive, comforting experience. Lauren was incredibly communicative throughout the planning, and even during Duke's stay. Her family has a genuine love for animals- I can't even begin to overstate it. One of the sweetest moments? I came to pick Duke up from his sleepover and, as we were walking out the door, Duke actually walked back in just to say goodbye to the kids. That's how we knew he felt safe and happy there. We already have plans for Duke to have future sleepovers with Lauren and her family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and attentive pet sitter. She and her family are absolute gems.
