If you are anything like I am, your pet is a part of your family. My dog, Arria, is my fur baby, and I want the very best for her, no matter what - from food, to treats, to sitters when I have to go out of town. Leaving her is an almost impossible thing to do, because I always worry about the kind of care she will receive and if it will be up to the standards I would give her myself, because all animals deserve kindness and love, and the best that we can possible provide for them, as that is what we sign up for when we take on pets as a part of our families. I love animals - dogs are especially my passion. All of my life I wanted to be a veterinarian, but due to health reasons and medical bills, college just was not in the cards for me. So instead I worked where I could with animals; I have volunteered in shelters - with the Michigan Humane Society as a Cat Care Specialist. I worked just shy of two years for PetPeople, and went through rigorous training and know a lot about pet nutrition - what foods, supplements, toys and treats are good for them as well as what brands to avoid. I worked for a short time for Premier Pet Supply before diagnosed with another health issue that made me have to stop working for a little while. I don't currently work, and am aiming to start my own pet-sitting business. I am good with giving baths, trimming nails, brushing them, as well giving medications and massages.
