Hi there! My name is Lauren. I am currently living and working in Napa. I have been pet sitting for family friends for 15 years & have been on Rover and Nextdoor for 3 years. I am very comfortable with animals and know how to handle all sorts of situations that may come up. I also volunteered at the Peninsula Humane Society for three and a half years, cleaning kennels, walking dogs, some training, feeding, bathing, etc. I really enjoyed doing this and I feel I would be a great candidate if you are looking for someone to drop in on your furry friend :)

We never leave our dog with anyone but family, and that's exactly what Lauren felt like when no family was available. Came home to a clean house and very happy healthy pup!

I would hope to know the dog's temperament before meeting them. Also are there any specific spots the dog does not like to be touched. I love all type, breed and sized dog so i definitely do not have a preference. Each breed has their own personality and I enjoy the diversity between them.
A typical day
Depending on the dog (age, behavior) I would normally go somewhere familiar so around their neighborhood makes the most sense. Nearby parks are always a good go to as well. If I was able to and the dog was friendly with others, the dog park is always a fun spot as well.
