Pet care experience
I have always had at least one pet in the house-birds, fish, lizards, bunnies, cats and dogs! I have watched friends’ and family’s pets for the last 15 years and have also fostered kittens and puppies from various shelters until permanent placement. I have rushed animals to the vet and tended to them in emergency situations, always keeping a calm head under pressure. I love all animals and can’t wait to meet yours!

Lauren is amazing!!! She watched our 3 fur babies last month and they loved her! They normally hide when we have company so we were not sure if they would interact. They were all over her. She took such good care of them and sent us plenty of photos. We are so grateful to have found her and she will definitely be our first choice in the future.
Lauren is fabulous with our two pups. They love her. She is very responsible and I have no worries when we travel.
Lauren did a spectacular job house and dog sitting for our 2 pups. The pups were well cared for and happy to have so much extra attention. Lauren took good care of the house too and everything was spotless when we got him. She’s very responsible and kept us updated each day. I highly recommend Lauren for the care of your pets. I have experience with all types of animals- shy, anxious, energetic, old and young- and adjust my care accordingly to the owner’s and pet’s requirements. I can help an animal to feel safe, calm and comfortable, give lots of love and attention, or just help them get out some energy! I am a good communicator and make sure to keep the owners updated on their pet’s well being. I also love to send lots of pet pictures!

Any preferences or routine you have for your pets I like to know about to keep their care consistent with the care that you would give them yourselves! If there is anything to watch out for in particular, e.g. attacking other dogs when too close on leash, I like to know ahead of time to keep your pup safe and happy!
A typical day
I adjust my care for each animal I watch to fit their preferences. I do dog park trips for those that are friendly and enjoy playing with other dogs, long walks, runs, or sits in the park for lower energy or elderly dogs who just enjoy being outdoors without the activity! For kitties that like to play I will spend time playing with them. For those not so interested I give some pets, lovin’ and treats for all.
