Pet care experience
I currently live in Charlotte with my husband, son, and 2 amazing dogs! I have an 11 year old toy poodle with special needs and an 8 year old lab mix. I have had dogs since I was a little kid and they have always been a passion of mine. I have been pet sitting for family and friends for years but am new to Rover! I have been using Rover for my own dogs for years and am so excited to now be a part of it. I truly believe that dogs are just furry children and I can’t wait to spoil your dogs just like my own! I know how hard it is to find a dog sitter/walker you trust so I am happy to meet you before you choose me to take care of your loved pet!

Thank goodness for Lauren! I recently moved to the area and desperately needed help with drop ins / dog walking for my 2 dogs: Lauren loves loves dogs! She has been a lifesaver! I had scheduled her and happened to be working from home- and she showed up on time and my dogs were beyond excited to see her! Highly highly recommend!
Lauren has had dogs all of her life and has two rescues of her own now. If I lived in North Carolina I would love for her to take care of my dogs. Knowing how well her family (dogs and people) are cared for and how much she loves all dogs, I am very sure that my dogs would be safe and happy!

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks around the neighborhood or on trails. I also love to play fetch or tug of war with a dogs favorite toy. I feel comfortable transporting dogs and can take them to appointments or to a special outing (like to a pet store)! I am comfortable feeding dogs and giving them medication. I have a dog with diabetes so I am comfortable giving insulin as well.
