Providing love and care to the animals and people around me has been a lifelong quest. I have been working with animals for a very long time, and pet sitting is another extension of my mission to make every animal in the world as happy as possible! I’m simply dedicated to the health and happiness of people and animals, so sitting is a great way for me to accomplish both of those at the same time! My experience working with animals is very long. I worked as an Animal Care Specialist at an Animal Rescue Foundation for 6 years. I’ve also worked at a wildlife facility for another 10 years, 8 of those years as a full time Animal Keeper. In 2015, I completed the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundations Course and use positive reinforcement training with both the wild and domestic animals I work with daily. I’ve loved every minute of it! I’ve gotten to know hundreds of different dogs during my time at the Animal Rescue Foundation and I can’t wait to meet more. I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on a new client. It is a great opportunity for us to make sure that we’re all a good fit with one another, plus we can chat face-to-face about your pup! I tend to ask lots of questions, so doing it in person is a great way for me to get acclimated with the kind of care that you are expecting for your pooch. Not to mention that I just love meeting new dogs! It’s always fun to get on their level and have them warm up to me, so I’m sure we’ll make fast friends no problem. When your pup is under my care, I’ll make sure to provide whatever services you and your pooch need to feel as comfortable and happy as possible. For my human clients, I’m always happy to send regular updates with accompanying photos so you can see how much fun we’re having! I’ll also only be a phone call away in case any questions or concerns arise. For my canine clients, I’ll prioritize their safety and health above all else by following their owner’s instructions to a “t.” Dogs are creatures of habit, so I’ll definitely make sure to adhere to the schedule and regimen they’re used to at home as closely as possible. But no matter what, your pup will be in professional and loving hands!
