Pet care experience
I am currently earning my doctorate of Occupational Therapy at USC and live in Highland Park with my husband, our 3 cats, and dog. I have had at least one dog as a pet ever since I was born, and currently own a 10-month old Staffordshire Terrier / Labrador Mix. I love hiking and going to the dog park with my puppy. I know that dogs are part of the family and will care for your animals as if they were my own. I have dog sat for families in New York prior to moving out to LA for graduate school, and am looking forward to meeting more families and fur babies in LA. Kino is usually cranky at us when we come back from a trip and gives us the silent treatment for a bit, but he seemed so fine and happy! Laurelle sent us plenty of updates and photos which we appreciated and I can tell he had fun hanging with her! We'd definitely have her watch him again!
Laurelle is always a thoughtful and patient caregiver, whether working with animals or with special needs children at her job. I always feel comfortable going out of town for the weekend knowing Laurelle is available and willing to check in on my dog every few hours. She's the best!!
Laurelle is seriously the best dog sitter I have ever had. She was so wonderful with my dog who has special health needs. She is truly and animal LOVER who knew exactly what my little dog needed. I felt so at ease knowing that she was taking such good care of my baby! Can't recommend her enough!!
I have several dogs--all different sizes with VERY different personalities--so it's often difficult to find a good sitter for them. I'd been through 3 sitters before I found Laurelle, who really went above and beyond and all my dogs loved her. I highly recommend her.
