Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Laurel, but my friends call me Lolo. I have been caring for animals since I could walk. No, seriously, I have! I was blessed with the opportunity to grow up in Colorado with all kinds of animals to care for daily. If you have grown up on a ranch or a farm, you know what I am talking about. We had two Australian Shepherds, horses, a donkey, barn cats, you name it! Those days sparked the passion I have for animals and taught me how to work my booty off. We were taught to NEVER leave the gate open, always clean up after ourselves (and the animals), and to show love to every living being. As an adult, I worked at multiple doggy daycares, adventured with some really amazing horses (and riders) at a Girl Scout camp in California, and have taken every opportunity I have found to spend time with animals. My dream is to one day open a ranch for rescue animals of all species and breeds. Until then, I am elated to be offering my pet care services to YOU and your furry friends (or scaly, I don't judge). Follow our Instagram to see what we are up to. I can't wait to hear from you! I can definitely handle young crazy puppies that jump, chew, pee everywhere, etc. as well as older (more fragile) dogs that need specialized care. I also have experience giving medications. I don't mind having dogs in my car and will happily bathe your dogs upon request. I am passionate about caring for all animals, especially dogs, and I am not intimidated easily! If you have other pets in your home, I will feed them and give them some love as well. I look forward to meeting your fur/feather/scaly babies and will treat them as they are my own! I operate my own pet care business out of my home, caring for your pets IS my weekly routine. I have a very flexible schedule. **I absolutely update all of my clients with photos and updates! I give you my direct cell phone number so you can contact me at any time if you want to know how your babies are doing. Safety of your pet is my number one priority. I never leave your home until your dog is properly leashed and wearing protective footwear when necessary. Please understand that I will not be able to provide a dog walk without proper safety equipment such as a collar with updated tags, a secure leash, etc.

Laurel was responsive, came out to meet my animals and do a walk through of what needed to be taken care of which I really appreciated. She was reliable and did a great job for us!

Great pet sitter. Laurel really cares about the animals she has in her care. She set up a meet and greet prior to make sure my dog got along well with her own. She will do whatever is needed to make sure your dog experiences as little transition as a possible between your home and her care. She will keep their feeding schedules, sleep preferences, and work hard to keep a sense of continuity in your pets day. She made the process super easy, and shared plenty of photos and videos of my dog while he was under her care. My dog came back nice and happy, and seemed like he had a great time with Laurel. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter who will take the extra steps to care for your pet.

Laurel is amazing! She took real good care of our boy while we were on our weekend vacation. I’m almost certain it was a vacation for him also! She paid attention to all the details we left for her as well as keep us super updated with texts and pictures. We felt so at ease during our trip knowing he was in great hands. We feel so relieved to find our go-to sitter. Thanks again Laurel, Ronin had so much fun!

It’s always a little nerve racking anytime you leave your fue babies with someone for the first time. If you’re looking for a new sitter or this is your first time boarding your pup with someone, book with Laurel. She has such a warm personality and sent us multiple pictures/updates every day on how our girls were doing. They looked so happy during their time with her. I would take my girls to her over a friend any day. Your animals will be loved and taken care of with her ❤️

Safety of your pet is my number one priority. I never leave your home until your dog is properly leashed and wearing protective footwear when necessary. Please understand that I will not be able to provide a dog walk without proper protection for their paw pads due to the high heat in the summer. My own house has multiple baby gates to ensure no dog escapes through any entry point as clients are coming and going. Our backyard is fenced and we keep a lock on our gate at all times. We have a shaded area for dogs to go potty even on the hottest of days and keep our AC set to 78 or lower at all times.

Information Laurel S. would like to know about your pet

Everything! The more you tell me about your pups, the better I can care for them and tailor my services to their needs. How old are they? Have they been around other dogs/kids? Do they have any fears I should be aware of?

A typical day

Depending on where you live, we will go on a nice long walk (weather permitting) and I will make it as fun as possible for your pup. I bring water and poop bags!
