I've grown up with dogs (various sizes, personalities, etc..) and currently have a 90lb shelter special named Bear. Honestly, I don't remember a time I didn't have at least one dog in my life. I'm lucky enough to work from home most days (I'm in IT Sales) and I just bought a condo on the Eastside. After a friend told me about Rover, I figured this would be a great way to earn some extra cash AND have doggie play dates for Bear to get him used to the new place. My home includes a small fenced-in yard and is walking distance to Town Lake so your pup will get plenty of exercise outside. Besides that, I'm a kind person and promise to treat your fur-baby like I would my own!

Frankie had such a blast with Laurel and Bear! She loved having a dog to wrestle with and such a nice person to snuggle with. When I picked her up, I could tell she felt completely at home with her new buds. Not only did Laurel agree to watch Frankie at the last minute, she sent frequent photos and updates and even gave our stinky pup a bath. I will definitely rebook with Laurel in the future! :)

Laurel was amazing! We were worried about finding the right person to watch our new lab puppy because he was so young and had not spent a night away from us. Any worry we had quickly disappeared once we met Laurel and Bear who made our pup feel right at home instantly. Highly recommend Laurel for all of your dog sitting needs!

I would love to know if your dog likes other dogs (especially big males). As long as your pup will get along with Bear, I have no breed preferences at all and welcome all shapes, sizes, genders happily.
A typical day
I live within walking distance of Town Lake and love going on the trail (about 4 miles) with my own dog at least every other morning. I also have a pet carrier for my car's backseat which allows me to take dogs to dog parks, coffee shops, Yard Bar and other dog-friendly places to get them out and about throughout the day.
