I have been an animal lover all of my life; I have never been in a home without them. I am also a wildlife biologist, so I have experience with all sorts of animal husbandry. All animals I care for I treat as my own and interacting with other people's babies is the highlight of my day. Dogs are so pure and we don't deserve - but I cherish every chance i get to spend with them! Of my two babies, the eldest (4 year old lab mix) came into my life as a 2 week old in need of care. I administered bottles, enemas, taught him to walk - the whole 9 yards! I also have experience with senior dogs (I worked at UGA's Small Animal ICU and was able to assist the technicians) and medications as well as administering shots.
