Pet care experience
Hey there – my name is Laurel, and I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I am an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your pet. I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with your pet. I will love on your fur baby with everything I have. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but due to frequent traveling, it’s sadly not the right time for me. I love having the opportunity through Rover. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy!

Laurel grew up with dogs and cats. While serving with the Peace Corps in Ecuador, she adopted a stray cat. When the pandemic hit, she had to leave quickly and was limited in the amount of luggage she could bring. She left many of her clothes behind so she would have room to bring her cat home. Laurel has taken care of our dog as well as several of her and our friends. She is a teacher by trade and is very reliable, honest, kind and loving. I don't think you could get a better person to care for your pet.
Laurel is my go-to gal for all of my pet-sitting needs. She is by far the most dependable sitter I have ever worked with. I have two cats and a dog, and she makes sure all three of them are happy, healthy, and loved. She clearly has a passion for animals. As an added perk, Laurel is a dream house guest. She has watched my pets overnight many times, and she always leaves the house even cleaner than she found it. It’s such a relief to come home to happy pets and a clean and tiny home, especially after a long trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laurel to anyone seeking pet care.

A typical day
I love to offer lots of fun stimulation for your pets. For dogs, that includes playtime in the yard if you have one, and neighborhood walks to take in all the smells. There's a dog park near my house where they can get some fun friend time in as well and run and play to their heart's content. For cats, I know the importance of mental stimulation and will entice them to play with their toys of choice, along with balancing that with all the cuddles they want.
