Pet care experience
I will house-sit anywhere within 45 minutes of West Plains (current clients are in Mt View and Rover area). I have over 40 years of experience with dogs and other animals. For over 5 years while I lived in Texas, I was a foster home for abandoned and abused dogs, in particular LGD breeds. I also provided transport all over Texas and Oklahoma for rescued dogs of all breeds from minature doxens to Mastiffs and Great Danes. As a farm owner, I am experienced in basic animal first aid so incoming medical issues don't phase me. I personally have had Shih tzus, cocker spaniels, border collies, labrador retrievers, Great Pyrenees, and Anatolian Shepherds. Most were rescues, some were purebred pedigreed animals. All have had permanent homes with me. I love dogs of all sizes and personalities although will admit a particular fondness for the long-haired breeds.

Laurel was awesome with my babies and she communicated very well all that was happening. This was the first time I used a service such as this and she made me feel very comfortable and confident that my babies were being taken care of. I will be using rover.com again in the future!
It's great to have Laurel do a drop by visit when I had to be away all day. The dogs love her and I'm sure they were ready for a potty break and to stretch there legs. Laurel always spends a little time with them and throws a few balls for Gracie. It's a nice way to break up a boring day while I'm away. Thank you!!
Laurel was available at short notice to do a drop in visit on my dogs. They appreciated the potty break and Laurel even gave them extra time outside while she played with them and threw the ball for Gracie! ♥️ Always such a relief to know Laurel is on the way! Thank you so much!

I like to take the dog on walks. We tend to stick with famiiar places since we don't know each other well. Otherwise, I give lots of pets and positive affection
