Pet care experience
I’ve done pet care full time, and absolutely love animals of all kinds, so you can be sure your pet will receive top-notch, experienced, and loving care. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, and have been dog walking and sitting since my early teens. Before transitioning to pet care, I worked for a decade as a nanny, which often included caring for the family dog in addition to the children. I have some knowledge of and experience with dog training, too. I’m a natural born caregiver, and find caring for animals and other people so rewarding. With me, your dog won’t just get lots of good walks, they’ll also get plenty of love, play and affection.

I take dogs on at least 3 walks per day, totaling at least an hour of walking per day. Depending on the dog and the weather, I often end up walking them for much longer, and sometimes even take them on several mile hikes. When it’s nice out I also like to take dogs out for a long lounge in park. In addition to walks I make sure each dog gets plenty of playtime. If your dog needs significantly more than 4 walks per day, please select the “puppy” rate, even if your dog is no longer a puppy. The puppy rate includes walks as often as every 1-2hrs depending on the dog’s needs. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!

It’s always helpful to know about a pet’s needs and temperament ahead of time, especially things like energy level and how reactive they are to other dogs on walks, etc. It’s also helpful to know what commands your dog knows and what obedience training they’ve had. I also need to know ahead of time about any aggressive tendencies or separation anxiety your pet may have.
A typical day
I love walking and exploring your neighborhood as much as your dog does! I love getting to walk dogs in different parts of town. I really enjoy getting to see and experience new parts of the city. I also love playing with dogs, and love teaching them new tricks!

Availability
I work part time at Whole Foods, and will spend the rest of my time with your pets, including staying overnight. I strive to provide my clients with the highest quality care possible. When you’re away on vacation, you can be sure your pet is having their own little stay-cation full of extra long walks, endless snuggles, all the playtime they could possibly want, and plenty of treats!
