Pet care experience
Laura has been working in rescue for 25 years and is an approved foster for Williamson Country Regional Shelter, Austin Pets Alive, Bastrop Animal Rescue and Austin Dog Rescue. Laura works from home for a technology company and is also the Founder of the Zwahlen-Benet Rescue Ranch where she has 3 horses, two goats, two pigs, 3 cats and 2 dogs. In order to help fund her rescue efforts, she provides care to other critters! Her passion is animal welfare. Laura’s personal pups don't do well in boarding + the cost has become egregious and it simply doesn't need to be. Our goal is to make it comfortable for your pups/cats while affordable for their families.

Laura Z was great! The cats clearly loved her. Our shy one actually came and sat in her lap the first visit! One of our kitties needed medications given 12 hours apart, and Laura was very conscientious about this. She showed up when she said she would, spent a lot of time with the cats, and they were in great shape when we got back. We will definitely call on Laura again when we need to leave our fur-babies again. Thank you so much, Laura!
