Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Laura. I am married, and have two boys. I recently retired. My family and I are fortunate enough to live in the Saratoga/Los Gatos area. I owned 2 beautiful AKC Dobermans who loved this property. Unfortunately, they don't live forever; and both have passed. I miss my beautiful companions & would be delighted to provide your family pet with the attention they deserve. My boys adore cats & dogs, and we have two very lovely independent cats: "Spookey" and "Mittens". Both live outdoors, and love our nice cool basement. Your pet will have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to eat, play, and be safe. I was very particular about my Dobies and found that a well-cared for pet is loyal, secure and makes a wonderful companion. I am home all day and able to provide your companion with full time care. Please feel free to call me, and we can discuss your pet and their individual needs. You are also welcome to come by to see if you are comfortable with our home. Laura watched my two Goldendoodles for 12 days and I couldn’t have been happier with her care of them. She was quick with communication during the entire process from first contact, scheduling a meet n greet, drop off timing and during their stay. She sent pictures during their stay and took excellent care of them. They were happy and healthy when I picked them up. She is also was very good handling them both and has very good knowledge in the care of dogs. I am grateful to have found a wonderful pet sitter for our two boys.
Laura is wonderful to take care my dog during my 4-day vocation. I can tell after I took my dog home because my dog is happy, clean and no any behavior change at all. I will choose Laura as my dog sitter in future for sure.

I have a three large fenced areas for you pet to run and play at their leisure. Smaller sized pets are continuously monitored and seem happy to remain in the smaller pool area of the yard with the sliding door remaining open throughout the day.

Every dog is special, and it is important to understand their unique idiosyncrasies. For example my two dobermans loved to eat out of the garbage. They would forge for left over food scraps, paper...you name it! I provided premium dog food, but they still had that "hunt for food" instinct. Your pet may have special needs or habits that would make their stay easier if we accommodate their special needs.
A typical day
Should your dog require additional exercise, in addition to gardening, swimming and fetching the ball on one full acre of landscaped gardens, we have a scenic up hill walk with views of Silicon Valley. This walk usually takes about 1 hour.

Availability
I really believe that a pet that fells safe, secure and is taken care of is a great family companion and a life time friend. I'm home all day, so there is enough of time for feeding, walks relaxing.
