Pet care experience
My name is Laura, and I’m a homeschooling mother of two (ages 8 and 5) and a roommate who has two of her own (ages 8 and 13). I’m a math tutor, and she’s a nurse, with schedules that make one of us available for care at almost all times. Our children love animals, especially dogs, and spend a great deal of their free time cuddling and playing with our regular visiting pups! They have all grown up with dogs in the home as I’ve dog-sat for all of their lives. We have a home that is very respectful of the needs of each individual pup. We have our own dog, a four-year-old standard-sized labradoodle, who is extremely well-behaved and social. We have experience watching dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and a variety of care, medical, and dietary needs. I work closely with our local dog trainer and have completed a dog behavior course. I am dedicated to providing a loving and safe environment for your furry family members while you are away. With my experience, qualifications, and commitment to excellent care, you can trust that your dog will be in good hands. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your pup! Please read further, and feel free to reach out to discuss any specific needs or questions you may have. Thank you for considering me as your dogsitter.
Reviews
Laura is a great dog sitter and I recommend her.
Laura is the best sitter! They treated our pup as their own dog. Clayo had her best time with Gigi and their family during the holidays! I highly recommend her service 🤍
Going with Laura was great. As soon as I dropped my pup off, she had a routine on getting the dogs comfortable with each other. Sunny had a great time and even had other dogs to play with. The home was spacious and a big backyard. I would definitely go to Laura’s again for a sitter.
Laura was wonderful!! Super communicative. Rallie had a great time— their background is an amazing playground for dogs!! Would definitely recommend Laura and would be thrilled to use her again in the future.

I provide dog boarding in my home in a family-friendly neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. Dogs staying with us have free range of the yard and home at all times, unless other care needs are in place at home (I can accommodate crate training routines). We have a large privacy-fenced backyard with areas of bright sunshine for sunbathing pups! For dogs that are too little or unaccustomed to pushing through the dog door, I leave the backdoor open for full access. We have cool tile throughout the common areas of the home for pups that run warm. I do limit capacity to two visiting dogs. I also vet new clients though solo interactions with my dog, and I gain confidence in fulling knowing a dog’s mannerisms over the long-term before I overlap visiting pup’s stays with us.
