Your Poodle's Home Away from Home!
Pet care experience
I lost my beloved standard poodle of 12 years in 2022. I am not a full time pet sitter, but I would love to care for your well-behaved poodle, poodle mix or hypoallergenic dog in my home when you are out of town. I live near Twin Peaks and Sutro Forest and would enjoy taking your dog for daily walks in and around my neighborhood. I miss having dog energy in my home!

Laura is fantastic! She took Pluto, our mini goldendoodle, on adventures all around the city and made sure he was comfortable and cared for. We received updates regularly and felt reassured that Pluto was in good hands. Laura is experienced, communicative, and kind. We would love to have Pluto stay with her again in the future!

My family home is gated in. I do not have other pets at home or take dogs from more than one client at a time, so your dog will not have to negotiate a relationship with other animals. Our doggie guests sleep wherever they are most comfortable, whether in my room, a crate or a dog bed. I have 2 Sealy brand dog beds and several toys on hand.

Let me know if your dog has any behavioral or medical issues. Is your dog easy to handle on a leash? How do they respond to encounters with other dogs when on a walk?
A typical day
I typically walk the dogs I care for 4x per day, giving them at least one hour long walk and several 15 minute walks a minimum of every 4 hours. I would walk your dog around Sutro Forest, Twin Peaks or Sutro Tower, all of which are nearby. I sometimes take dogs on additional outings to Golden Gate Park, Land's End, or the Beach. At home, your dog can play with toys and keep us company.

I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so it is easy to care for your dog and give them ongoing attention. My other family members are also dog lovers who enjoy lavishing attention on our canine houseguests. Your dog would rarely, if ever, be left home on their own. I live with my husband, and 2 college age children, who are home summers and holidays.
