I have bonded with cats and dogs since I can remember. I had family cats and dogs growing up, which I helped to care for, and have had two dogs of my own during adulthood. I even lived in a 4-dog household at one point! I am always drawn to animals and they seem to always sense that I am an animal-lover as well. I recently said goodbye to my 11-year-old, 90 lb. mutt (likely a shepherd, husky, coonhound mix) named Cliff. He had multiple leg surgeries and ongoing mobility challenges, but I know that I took the best possible care of him through the health struggles. The transition into daily life without him has been really tough, but I would like to take some time before adopting another dog -- so I am eager to help out with pet sitting needs in the meantime! I frequently take care of pets for friends and family and also use Rover for Cliff as needed. I have decided to become a sitter because I just love meeting and spending time with new dogs/cats. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pup at home and there's nothing better than feeling safe and calm with their care while you are away, which I'd love to provide for you!
