I have had the pleasure of owning four different dogs over my life so far. Unfortunately I have been without a dog since Mancha passed and it has been too hard to commit all of my love and energy to a new dog since my husband and I relocate for work often. Pet sitting is a way for me to connect with animals and help owners that want to keep their loved ones with a trusted and loving family while away from home. My personal philosophy is that exercise is important, so I walk as much as possible with dogs. Also, I believe in a healthy dose of fun and daily regiment to keep dogs on routine. Most of all, I love dogs to my core. I have a lot of experience house sitting dogs over the past few years, especially with large dogs. I genuinely believe that dogs love me too. I have a natural connection with animals in general. I grew up in the countryside of Colombia and was surrounded by every animal imaginable. I hope to provide a warm and inviting home to your beloved pet! Why I love dog sitting I grew up in the countryside of Colombia and had four dogs throughout my upbringing. When you live in the country, animals are more than pets. They are companions that you love and care for because they do the same for you. While I have lived in big cities since college, I still believe that I try to foster the same principles with the dogs that I sit. My husband and I participate in Rover because our jobs require us to move to different cities fairly regularly. We would love to have dogs again and will wait until we know we are rooted in a city for more than a year. Rover allows me to provide love and companionship to dogs everywhere! About my yard We are currently in a condo building that has a big yard where the dogs are more than welcome. My experience administering medication It depends on the medication. I am comfortable with oral medications. I prefer to discuss any of the requirements when we first meet to determine if I can best provide the care that your dog needs.
