We are a dog-loving family of 8 and I stay home most of the day. We have a new-to-us dog so while he gets acclimated I am limiting overnight stays. I can accept daycare guests and love doing walks and drop-in visits. There's a lot of activity and always someone to play with or cuddle up on the couch with if your dog stays for the day. While I'm sure my kids will love interacting with your dog, I will of course be main caregiver and supervise all interactions. I think it is important to note that our yard is not fenced in. While I will provide plenty of walks and leashed outside time, if your dog is used to roaming outside freely we may not be the best fit. However, if you have a dog who loves being where the people are, you can rest assured that he or she will be inside with us and NOT relegated to a yard alone while you are gone.
