Pet care experience
Dogs just bring me so much joy. I foster small dogs through a local shelter and it breaks my heart every time they leave - so I am excited to dog sit for dogs I already know have a loving home! And you can bet I will get very attached to your sweetie (and treat them like my own). I currently have three small senior dogs and love them dearly. I work from home so your pet will enjoy lots of company during the day! My partner and I typically spend evenings going on walks or hanging out watching a movie or reading, so enjoy having the dogs keep me company and vice versa. Looking forward to connecting with you and meeting your VIP (very important pet)!

Laura is the best! We left our pup Rumi in her care multiple times— the longest of which was for two weeks. I swear that when we came back from vacation, our pup was content to stay with Laura for another two! She’s gentle, loving, responsible, and very accommodating. Prefer small to medium sized dogs who are house trained. Because we have our own senior sweetie we cannot accept any dogs for sitting who are aggressive toward other dogs.
A typical day
We have a large fenced yard which is great for hanging out in! My senior dog can only handle walks around the neighborhood, so if that is your dog too, great! But I am also always craving time with more active dogs who will join me on longer walks! My favorite places to go with dogs are around Lake Merritt or walks along the Alameda waterfront. If your dog is a snuggler they can expect lots of belly rubs and couch cuddle time!
