I’ve had dogs since I came home from the hospital as an infant. Growing up, I had a Shetland Sheepdog and a Cockapoo who were the most amazing animals. As an adult, I rescued a laboratory beagle who has brought light into my life. Training her was a rewarding experience - teaching her how to be a dog. I also rescued a pit bull who is a Velcro dog and addicted to snuggles and playing with her mom and dad.. Fur babies are the best! It’s basically my goal to be surrounded by dogs (or cats) at all time, so this is my dream job. Please let me know if you have any questions and I hope you choose me to take care of your babies!

Laura took really good care for our 90LB Lab, while we were out of country. She sent pictures and updated on Barley periodically. She kept him as her family. We are very happy with her care. On our return, Barley was happy and healthy. She kept him well behaved. We are very satisfied with her care for dog. She just loves the pets. We recommend her highly, we will ask her to care for our dog whenever we need in future. Thank you Laura.

Laura and her fiance took great care of my sweet Luna for 2 weeks while I went to visit family. I was hesitant to leave my girl with anyone, but Laura made me feel very comfortable and Luna seemed at ease with the two dogs in the home. Laura provided updates, pictures, videos and allowed me to video chat with Luna. Luna is older and has some separation anxiety and Laura and Ross worked really hard to make her comfortable. I feel they went above and beyond to problem solve with me in how to help Luna feel more at ease. In the future I would use Laura and Ross again and would recommend them if you're looking for a pet sitter. You're pets will be in capable, loving, caring arms.

I have two dogs to keep your fur baby company. If needed, I can crate your dog depending on the dog's needs - some dogs may need to be crated when left alone in the house or at night while we are all asleep. However, my doggies sleep in bed with my fiancé and I. Therefore, your pup is more than welcome to sleep with us if he or she would like. I also am experienced in administering oral medication. Please let me know in advance if this is a service you require beforehand. Lastly; I am also available to bathe your dog during their stay for an additional fee. Please let me know if your dog requires any other amenities during their stay. I am always available for a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that our animals are compatible. So far, in the past few years of dog boarding, my dogs have always created a positive environment for the new dog in the house. I refer to my pitbull as the welcome crew for any new animal that has a vacation at our house. If you have any questions or any other requests; please let me know.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, whether behavior-wise or health-wise. As I mentioned, I am available to administer oral medications and have a few tricks up my sleeve if your dog can be hesitant about taking the meds.However, I have never administered medication by needle and do *not* feel comfortable doing so. Behavior-wise, please let us know if there are any habits your dog has that you want to eliminate, such as jumping up on you or if you don't want your dog to spend time on our couch or bed. I like to continue the behaviors you are enforcing at home in order to keep them well-trained for you.
A typical day
My dogs get a nice long walk every day and your dog would be able to join them when they stay at my house. My neighborhood is quiet and great for dog walks. My neighbors are very respectful and safe around my dogs and when driving by, they drive slowly when passing us on the road. I also have a huge basket full of toys that dogs that I am boarding love to play with. Usually, the entire basket is empty within an hour of playtime commencing. As I mentioned before; my pitbull is very friendly and sweet to other animals brought into the house. She treats them like her own brother or sister and will play with them all day and usually snuggles with new dogs when they are both tuckered out.

Availability
I work from home and my fiancé, who you will meet before your animal's stay, works 8 AM to 3 PM. His name is Ross and he will be taking care of your fur baby alongside me. Because we already have two dogs, it is quite easy for us to have any additional animals. Our dogs are fed twice a day, go outside to potty 3-4 times a day, and go on neighborhood walks most days. Usually this schedule works for any new dog in our house. However, if your dog requires any changes to our normal routine, please let us know. We are able to accommodate most requests, but it is easiest for us to be aware of these requests so that we can prepare in advance.
