Pet care experience
Growing up I had cats because my family was too busy to care for a dog. Due to this, I became the neighborhood dog sitter as a child! I have many years of experience dog sitting, walking and house sitting in NH, MA and now ME! This is not something I do for money, it is actually a passion of mine. Since I am not able to have a dog where I am currently living, why not take care of other dogs and help out someone in need! I have watched many different breeds (large and small) and many different ages (months to 15 years). I love to go for walks/hikes/be outdoors, so I am always trying to think of fun places for the dogs to have some fun! I am always careful to respect all owners wishes and requests. Your dog would surely be in good hands with me!

Laura is kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and fun when it comes to taking care of dogs. We have a beagle/dachshund puppy mix and he is ecstatic when Laura arrives for his walk. She gives updates throughout her visits. I feel comfortable and safe leaving our fur baby in her care.
Laura did a great job watching our house and cat while we were away for four days. Laura communicated very well and always responded quickly whenever I sent a message. We will definitely be using Laura again in the future!
Laura was great with my four month old puppy! She was prompt in her responses and took great care of my pup on his walk. She took numerous pictures during their time together and it made me feel completely at ease while I was away for the day with family. Will definitely be having Laura walk Bentley again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their pups!

Unfortunately I am unable to care for your pets in my home as we have cat who is king of the household. I do however welcome dogs into my car if you are okay with me taking them out somewhere for a walk!

A typical day
I have watched a number of different breeds from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have also watched up to 5 dogs at one time. My style is fun, energetic, and loving, yet obedient. I will be sure to love your dogs as much as you do, yet expect them to follow the rules and guidelines you have set for them (no sitting on furniture, no people food, etc). I have dealt with elderly dogs who need special care/meds, puppies who are not yet house trained, and aggressive dogs as well. I can adapt to many situations, while still being able to love and care for your dog :)

Availability
I am currently working remotely, so am able to fit in a few dog walks during the day. I can also work from your home when house sitting so that your pets are not left alone all day (as long as there is wi-fi!)
