Veterinary assistant graduate

Pet care experience

I have had dogs most of my life, I have helped raise numerous litters of puppies, and I regularly pet sit for family and friends. I graduated top of my class at NAU in the vet assistant program, but am looking to spend more time at home with my children. I have been trained in animal CPR and other necessary life saving skills, including how to properly administer medications and what specialized needs should be met for different size categories. I am currently in the process of fencing my yard, and as such, outside time is leashed and scheduled hourly. As a pet lover myself I understand the difficulty of finding someone who will care for your pets and respect your home. My clients can rest assure that they will be provided the highest degree of professionalism and heartfelt pet care for their four-legged family members

Cocoa loved her! Laura even left us a Rhubarb Crisp with directions to make it ourselves. We gave her some rhubarb from our garden. Laura responded quickly to all communications as well as was prompt when coming to meet Cocoa. Cocoa was happy when we came home and she didn't seem to miss us much, which tells us she had a great time with her sitter!

We were very pleased with our sitter Laura! She was very dog friendly and treated Cookie like her own. She kept us abreast of how our dog was doing, sent pictures and asked questions about our dog in order to better understand her. We were very satisfied with her care and the open communication we had with Laura. We will most likely use her services again when the need arises. We also highly recommend her as a great dog sitter. Thank you Laura!

A typical day

Dogs will be walked a MINIMUM of 15min. twice daily. Longer for more active breeds Nails and teeth will be inspected and trimmed/cleaned if possible.
