Pet care experience
I grew up with cats & began petsitting for neighbors when I was in middle school. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, bearded dragons, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I treat pets as part of the family and love meeting new friends! When your dog(s) comes to board in our home, they will enjoy playing with our friendly Boston Terrier, Ella, walking around the neighborhood or laying in the sun in our fenced backyard, if it is nice out. We live close to the Westminster Off Leash Dog Park and take frequent trips! If leashed explorations are more appropriate for your pup, we also love walking in the Open Space next to our neighborhood - so many sights and smells to explore! Pets are allowed on furniture in our home, and my husband Jeremy & I absolutely love hanging out with furbabies. We will care for your pet as if (s)he is our own. We also have a fantastic cat (Roux & Ella are best friends), so your dog must be ok with felines. For boarding, pick-up time is before 11 AM on the last day of service. If your pup needs to stay longer, daycare fee will apply.

Laura did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats! She sent a detailed update at every drop-in visit as well as plenty of photos. She really understands cats and was able to make them feel comfortable with her rather quickly. I highly recommend her!

I always do Meet n Greets before boarding to make sure everyone is a good fit. I like to know if your pup has experience with cats (if not, does s/he chase small animals like rabbits and squirrels)? We'll also chat about your dog's daily routine, tricks/commands, treats, preferences and quirks. :) All boarding & daycare dogs must be house trained. All dogs must be spayed or neutered. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines. I do not breed or size discriminate. Looking forward to meeting you!
A typical day
Depending on the activity level of your pup, (s)he might enjoy long walks in the Open Space near our house, sunbathing on our back deck, searching for rabbits in the backyard, and/or long winter afternoon naps by the fire. We are also a short drive from the Westminster Off Leash Dog Park (for dogs with prior experience).
