Marketing guru, animal lover, passionate about animals, education and the outdoors. I'm a Portland, Oregon native who loves animals, especially dogs and loves being out doors. I went to the University of Oregon and studied education, special education and business. I started my career in marketing for a health organization and now work in sales. I have 2 dogs of my own (who will stay home with family when I take care of your pets). One is a black lab, the other a black lab border collie mix. I also regularly care for a Jack Russel Terrier, a golden retriever, and a pitbul/lab mix. I have house sat for many families in high school, college and since starting my career and love spending time playing with and caring for animals. Dogs in my care will receive endless affection, engaging activity via walks or runs for the more active and if they're so inclined, tricks for treats as well as play (fetch, dog parks...whatever your pet prefers).

Laura has done an amazing job when watching Griffey! It's so nice to leave knowing he is in good hands. She always asks a lot of questions and is very trustworthy. She is also really good with training Griffey and is very patient. Griffey is always excited to see Laura and spend time with her.
Laura is amazing with dogs! My roommate and I have two big dogs and Laura is always our go-to sitter. We can trust her not only to keep our pups in good company but she always goes the extra mile to make sure they get a little extra attention, love and playtime. We really appreciate having a dog lover like Laura around to look after our dogs when we can't be around. As a dog owner & having grown up with dogs herself, Laura is a comfortable with all different dog types and temperaments. Laura comes highly recommended from me and my pooch!

My style is your style. While I have many years of experience caring for dogs and have raised a few of my own, I realize that each family and dog are unique so the goal is to make the pet feel as comfortable, at home and loved as possible! I do have some training experience and am happy to help reinforce positive behaviors and make sure your dog gets the exercise and training consistency he or she needs while you're away. I am fortunate to have a job that allows me some flexibility in my schedule so the most amount of time your dog would be home alone is 8 consecutive hours, but most days I'm able to be home more than that.
