Here is a summary about my history: I have been offering private animal care services for about 10 years. Additionally, I volunteered and interned at an animal shelter for 2 years, I have a total of 8 years of experience working at a couple different dog boarding & daycare facilities, I completed 3 years in a BS degree program for Veterinary Technology, I worked for groomers doing baths/blow dry/nail trims/ear cleaning etc., worked as an assistant on a veterinary team providing low-cost spays & neuters and vaccines, and even worked at a small family-owned pet supply store. I am experienced and comfortable handling all species, breeds, and ages as well as animals with special needs. I am skilled at administering all types of medications including insulin. I am also great with cats and experienced in caring for exotic pets including chinchillas, reptiles, amphibians, rodents, rabbits, ferrets, birds, and fish. Livestock I have cared for include chickens, peafowl, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, horses, mules, and donkeys. I had the incredible opportunity to monitor the wellbeing of mother and baby when an alpaca gave birth while I was ranch sitting. I know animals to be great communicators if we understand how to listen. My highest priority is the safety and comfort of your animal as well as open & ongoing communication with you while your animal is in my care! I love to travel, hike, and camp when I am not hanging out with animals (but I prefer when animals are involved!). I began pet sitting professionally in 2014 in Fargo, ND. I have been pet sitting in Arizona since November 2019. My partner and I bought a beautiful property in Camp Verde in 2022 and I am eager to get to know the Verde Valley community! **My visits are customized for your pet's needs. The total rate generated by Rover when you send the initial request may not be accurate. Rates vary based on number of pets per household and amount of time/care required** I may request a fee of $1 per mile when commuting outside my service area (30-mile radius). Ex. If I commute 35 miles one way, $5 is added to the daily rate. Ask me about an Adventure Day! Great for high-energy dogs. $65-95 per outing. (example activities include a visit to your dog's favorite dog park, day-hiking, etc.) I also offer a pet (yard) waste removal service (one-time, weekly or biweekly), pet taxi service (vet or grooming appointments or long-distance transport), nail trims, baths, brushing/de-shedding, and more!
