Pet care experience
My husband and I have previous experience fostering dogs for rescue programs as well as having our own dogs. We live in Columbia and enjoy taking walks and hiking. If your dog enjoys playing in water, we'll be sure to stop by creeks and waterfalls. We have two girls who adore dogs, and we teach the to respect each dogs' space, but know that your pup will get LOTS of attention in our home. It's unavoidable. My husband is a stay-at-home parent and is home for most of the day. If you are looking for walks, let me know if your dog has a preferred trail type or route and I’ll happily walk there with them. If caring for your dog in your home, I can stay overnight or I am happy to drop in as needed and give your dog company or help them stretch their legs and get some energy out. Laura and Joe amaze me with their love for dogs. I remember when their first daughter was born & how her favorite animal was a puppy. Taking in sheltered dogs was something that I have Always admired about them. I truly believe this opportunity to be a caregiver will bless not only them, but the future families that take in these dogs.
Laura and her family are wonderful dog watchers! They have experience with the young adolescent trouble makers and the geriatric special needs dogs and have cared for both with the greatest attention to detail. They are an active family that will be able to provide stimulation for the energetic pup, I would trust them with any of my pets.

A typical day
We can walk the neighborhood or go on the nature paths. I'm comfortable taking your dog to the dog park or just hanging out in the yard. If your dog has favorite activities, like food puzzles or playing with a beloved toy, I'm happy to incorporate those into our routine.
