I'm also a certified large (meaning animals like horses - I'm also a rider) and small (meaning cats and dogs) animal masseuse through Northwest School of Animal Massage. If you are interested in extra services or have pup siblings, please ask about discounts. I've worked as a volunteer foster mom for dog and cat rescue organizations, and have fostered approximately 50 dogs and a few cats over 14 years, so I'm used to hosting and caring for a variety of different dogs. Therefore, I have a wide variety of dog beds (including an XL Tempur-Pedic dog bed), grooming supplies, toys, bowls, leashes, coats, medical supplies, etc, so anything your animal would need could be supplied. I could also supply a pet tag with my information during their stay for extra assurance if you like. My house is shared with animals meaning they are welcome on couches and on the bed unless you would prefer another routine that is consistent with your home. Your pet will have access to a fenced-in backyard and doggy doors so that they can let themselves in and out whenever they please but still supervised. However, I would like to request that all doggy guests be potty trained prior to visiting. If during the visit it is discovered that the dog is not potty trained, there will be a minimum $10 surcharge for the cleaning supplies that were needed, and your dog will not be invited back. I take my dog for walks in the morning each day and would be happy to have your dog join us if you like. I'm also a member of Dog Wood Park, a 42 acre gated play and swim park, where your pup could join us for a fun outing if you would be interested in their guest fee of an additional $7.00 each visit per dog. I have an 9-year-old Beagle that I rescued from the Humane Society, who is loving, and would be happy to welcome in a new playmate. I don't currently own cats or have kids in the house, so there are no worries if your furry friend doesn't quite enjoy kids or cats as much as others do. Whether your dog is here for daycare or a vacation overnight, you can rest assured they will be well cared for and spoiled! I can empathize with trusting to leave one of the most important things in your life to someone else because I also experience that with my dog when I leave him with someone. I will text you pictures and provide updates daily so that you can see what we are up to. I can also supply medications and meet any special requests you may have. Please have firm dates and times of dog guest(s) stay requested in mind because changing them can be a bit tricky. This is to help to accommodate future guests who may not enjoy a new roommate. Drop off times are no earlier than 7:00 am or pick up times no later than 8:30 pm. There will be a $10 early/late fee one hour prior or after. Otherwise, it will be considered an extra day of $30. This is not a kennel with a 24x7 receptionist. When you provide a drop-off and pick up time, please keep that as close as possible, unless something unforeseen happens. Otherwise, I can't guarantee anyone will be home, and you will have to make other arrangements, Please keep me notified of any changes well in advance. This is also true for any meet and greet times. Being prompt is very important. If you will be running late due to unforeseen circumstances, that is Ok, but you will need to let me know as soon as possible if there are changes to a scheduled meeting.
