Pet care experience
Hi there, I’m Laura. I've currently moved back to London after an extended visit to the US and am an avid pet lover. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, including 4+ dogs at all times. But now that I’m in an apartment and sadly can’t have my own pet at home, I’m looking to help those around me! I’ve been a nanny for the past 10 years and during that time had several pet sitting /pet care responsibilities. I was able to apply the skills I had learned all my life in a professional manner — from house sitting with overnight pet care, to daily feeds and walks, to even administering meds to those with more health problems. I have a pretty flexible schedule right now, so please feel free to contact me for any help I can provide. Thanks for your time and I hope I can get to know you and all your furry friends! I could only care for pets in a pet-owner's home and not my own since I live in a pet-free apartment. However, I'm more than happy to care for your pups in their own home, including overnight sits. During house-visits, I always try to continue any routines you might have for your pet at home, such as feeding times, typical walking routes/dog parks you might visit, treat/reward systems, crating requirements, etc, so I always try to establish this information during a first conversation/visit with you the owners.

Laura has been great helping me with Tank. She is super caring, really nice and always sends updates throughout the day. I am very happy to have her in my home with Tank and he seems to love her as he goes crazy when she arrives. I am glad I found her!
Laura is wonderful! We have two dogs, one is older and one was a puppy when Laura was helping our family. That is quite an extreme in terms of pet care, but Laura was such a huge help. She worked with us on a daily basis for many months, and we greatly appreciated it. She was patient, kind, and just a joy to be around not only for our pets but for our family. Laura is responsible as well; it was such a relief to know that our dogs (and our family!) were being well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Laura’s passion for pets and animals is clear from the moment you meet her. She has a calmness that assists even the most nervous of dogs or cats in becoming comfortable in moments. She tirelessly plays fetch with our Elenor who is absolutely in love with her. I would trust Laura with any of our fur babies.
Laura is an exceptional and responsible woman who will treat your pets with the utmost care and affection. She will not only treat your pet with the best care but will enjoy doing so. She’s looked after my pets and went above and beyond to make sure they got everything they needed and more.

At your house, I always try to replicate a typical home environment for your pets. I always like to spend the first meeting or phone call establishing what exactly means, ie treat systems, crating or not, food schedules, favorite games/toys, any obedience tools/training, etc. I just want to make sure you and your pups feel completely comfortable with as few changes to their routines as possible!!

Always important to me to know what kind of environment you have pre-established for your dog. Are there any favorite toys/treats, how do they respond to certain commands like sit, stay, etc, do they like walking, fetching, or just lounging around, etc. I just love knowing all the different pups personality types and how I can make their time away from their family as easy and fun as possible.
A typical day
Typical daily activities will vary dog to dog and depending on owners preferences, but love spending time playing fetch in the backyard or learning new tricks with treats. If they need some more activity or stimulation, usually try to take to a dog park or at least for a walk around the block!

I'm currently enrolled as a Masters student, so my availability varies day to day but during the holidays, afternoons and weekends I'm free and excited to play with your critters!
