My career with animals started as a young child when I spent my weekends at the humane society - walking / playing with the adoptable dogs and cats. Soon after, I began pet-sitting the neighborhoods pets before high-school which eventually grew into a business I stayed committed through-out high school and college. I went to Delaware Valley College, PA to study small animal science which included multiple animal behavior and handling courses . Throughout college I learned how to train basic dog obedience and practiced correcting bad behaviors with abused and neglected foster dogs to help them become more adoptable. I became very successful in not only correcting certain behaviors, but also finding the perfect home! As much as it is hard to separate from a dog, I always knew they were going to a safe home forever. I have over 5 years of experience working as a veterinary technician in multiple areas including general, shelter, emergency and specialty. I started my Rover pet sitting business in San Diego and was grew so quickly, I was doing Rover full time after only 1 month of gaining client. I recently l moved back to San Diego and I currently work from home so am only open to house sitting at this time until I have more availability to do full time walking and drop in visits. Medical I am well trained and equipped to handle and medicate dogs, cats, rodents and horses - as well as watching out for any particular medical symptoms. If your pet has any medical problems, I can definitely have these addressed. I have handled all types and breeds of dogs and cats after working in numerous hospitals, and am confident in reading a dogs behavior to understand what they are thinking. Services If you need to me to add any extra to the stay including but not limited to bathing, training, doggie grocery shopping, veterinary visits - I can accommodate that as well. Most importantly : My dog is everything to me and would never put her in a situation that can harm her. I treat anyone's pet like my own. I am full of love and kisses and want not only your dog to have a blast with me but also, for you to feel like your dog is on his/her own vacation and not worry while your away!
