Pet care experience
As amazing as it is to own a pet, it can also be challenging, stressful, and time consuming, but I’m here to help. Growing up my family had a tabby cat and a lab/pit bull mix. Through the years, I’ve pet sat cats and dogs for friends and roommates. I just moved to Baltimore from DC, and so far I have spent a lot of time volunteering as a dog walker with BARCS. During my time at BARCS, I’ve walked dogs of all sizes (up to 80lbs), I’ve handled scared or nervous dogs, excited puppies that don’t know how to walk on a leash, older dogs who like to go slower, and excited dogs that like to pull and explore. Back in DC, I volunteered regularly with another rescue as a dog handler at their adoption events. I just love dogs and cats and I can’t have any of my own at the moment, so I’d like to help people that do.

Laura was incredible with snow. I came home to a happy baby and every photo she sent me while I was away looked like my fur baby was living her best life. I was so relieved and pleased with all the tlc she gave her. I really appreciate her and want Laura to watch snow any opportunity that comes up. She’s the best thus far.
Laura is one of the most responsible individuals that I have encountered while searching for someone to watch my two Shih Tzu's. She not only took care of the necessities that I had required her to do, but also spent extra time hanging out with my dogs while she did school work. I was very satisfied by the care that she took for my dogs, and they really seemed to love her. It is coming up on year 6 of her watching my dogs, and I would definitely recommend her.

A typical day
Dogs will enjoy going to parks or taking walks through neighbors or playing fetch or tug of war in the backyard. I can also provide general socialization and companionship for anxious or older dogs.
