If I could do this for a living full time I would. During the busy spring time I foster through harbor humane society in grand haven both dogs and cats. I love any and all animals and this is truly my passion and am happy to do it part time. When I am at work I am clerk for the courthouse in grand haven, and LOVE what I do! There is nothing more appealing than being able to meet dogs and cats and provide love and care to them and I am truly a loving and caring person with a passion for animals.

Whether it's one day or two weeks long, Laura somehow puts in the same amount of love and attention to Rory. She's also just a great human being. Highly recommend
Laura always takes such great care of our cat. I know he loves it when she stops by, and I love knowing she is there watching out for him!
As always, Laura did everything she could to make sure Felix was cared for!
We love Laura and so does our kitty Felix! She always provides sweet updates and sends several cute photos when she visits. We are so grateful she takes such great care of him when we are gone!

In my own home it really depends on the dog I’m watching! I have my own dog that would absolutely love to be around your dog / cat all day but I can definitely separate them if needed. I’m your home I would just ask you tell me what makes your dog/cat most comfortable!

I think the most important thing would just be asking what’s going to make the dog feel the most comfortable while I am watching him/her. If we are in my home I do have a kitty who has access to the first and second floor but I can close the gate and he can be on the second floor only if needed.
A typical day
I think working part time in the office/ the rest of the time at home is very helpful because I am around to comfort the dog most of the time. I’m a very active person and work out so walking will be a twice a day thing if needed. I live in a nice neighborhood so it’s very safe :)

Availability
Pet care IS my daily routine. I love animals, absolutely love my dog and cat, and it’s truly fun to be able to get to know other cats and dogs and make a little extra money. I work from home 3 days a week so the majority of the time is spent with my animals/yours!
