My name is Laura Kayes and I am the owner of Urban Lap Dogs. My love for animals began at a very early age, and there hasn't been a time in my life when pets weren't a part of it! Pets are my passion, and today I am the proud "dog mom" to my two rescues, Dakota and Ellie. They have my whole heart, and I am wrapped around their paws! As a pet lover myself, I understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust to care and love for your pets as they were their own. My clients can rest assured that their four-legged family member will be treated as one of my own. I understand that all pets are unique and deserve undivided attention. Dog Walking: Mid Day Walks- All pets need a break during long work days! Lunch break walks for your pet are the perfect solution to providing exercise, potty time, and lots of love! Sleepovers: I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone to care for your fur baby while you are out of town. Boarding dogs can be stressful on both you and your pet! My apartment is located on the first floor and is next door to Levy Park. Whether its long walks, or playing fetch at the dog park, I am next to it all! Your dog can get cozy at night and can sleep on my couch, futon or my bed. If you prefer to bring a dog bed or crate(I do have a large crate), or if you request your dog to be blocked off from my dogs then thats perfect as well. I have tons of blankets, dog toys, bones, treats and always have fresh water available. You will receive photos of your pup and text updates daily, and you're always free to call me while you're away!
