Pet care experience
I’ve had pets of all kinds my whole life so I am experienced in providing proper care for them. I completed an animal science & care course with an internship in my senior year of high school and began college majoring as a vet tech. I also have experience pet sitting for a cat with diabetes so I know how to give insulin injections. I’m a huge animal lover so you can be sure your pet is well taken care of and spoiled while you’re away!

Laura took good care of Toby, he is an older dog that needs medicine, she made sure he took it every single day and also made sure he was happy and comfortable.

Pets in my home will be treated as if they were my own. I spoil my pets and they’re allowed everywhere in the house as well as on the furniture. I do require dogs to be crate trained for when I am not home only for safety reasons with my other pets. If I am visiting your home instead I will respect any rules given to me while also providing the highest standard of care for your pet.

One of my own dogs has some special needs so I take any special directions from you very seriously because I know how crucial that can be. So as long as you let me know ahead of time I can be sure to get any medications to your pets or treat them in any specific way needed.
A typical day
I like my own dogs to get at least a walk everyday so I will do the same for any dogs under my care. I think it’s important they get that daily exercise and that’ll be a priority for me. I live right near a grouping of side streets that’s nice for walks or if I go out to a park I like to go to Como Park or Knox Farm.

Availability
I currently work second shift full time (4-midnight) so I’m home the first half of everyday. This provides me with a lot of free time that could be used towards caring for your pet. I have the time to provide drop ins for pet care and walks for dogs since I’m available in the daylight hours when most people are working.
