I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for over 15 years for family members, neighbors, and friends. I moved from Alaska and have a very active lifestyle. I love to take animals on adventures, but also love cuddling on the couch at the end of the day.

Our dog loves going to Laura's house. He's been twice now, and the second time he got out of the car and didn't even look back. He loves all of the outside time and peanut butter licky mats. Laura is so kind and flexible. On our way home from our road trip our car broke down 4 hours away from home. She kept our dog an extra day while we worked out car repairs.
Laura was so accommodating. My other sitter canceled the morning of and Laura was able to watch my pup the same day. She even came home from work during lunch to meet at my scheduled pickup time. She sent lots of pics during Rocky’s stay and even gave him a mini report card so I could see how he did. Definitely recommend!!!
Laura was fantastic, she took such great care of my senior and sometimes a bit anxious dog. My dog had a great time on her farm while I was away :)
Laura took such good care of Charlie while I was away for the weekend! I got plenty of updates and pictures each day and Laura was super responsive throughout the booking process. It was clear that Charlie had the BEST time with his new friends because he didn't want to leave when I came to pick him up, and he was a tired happy pup when we got home. I would 100% recommend Laura to anyone and would absolutely leave Charlie with her again the next time I go out of town. 13/10!

I have a huge fenced yard and tons of land to run around and enjoy. I have two friendly dogs and a cat who love other animals. When caring for pets in your home, I will follow your directions and make sure your animals are cared for as if they were my own.

My lab is very submissive and gets along with all animals. My border collie does not like other humans, but tolerates other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or dominant. She must be the most dominant dog in the house. I have a cat who is very dog friendly and generally keeps to herself other than meal times. All animals who come into my home MUST be confirmed dog and cat friendly. NO history of chasing cats/prey drive. I generally do not allow unfixed animals due to behavioral issues. No history of marking inside the home, please.
A typical day
During the week, dogs are fed and let out 2x before I leave for work at 7am. I typically get home around 3:30pm and immediately go out to the field to play. My dogs are extremely active so we will play for at least one hour. On the weekends as long as the weather is nice, we will play in the field, hike the trails behind my house, or go on a car rides. On the weekends I am usually out of the house for no more than a few hours, so I spend most of that time with my dogs.

I work full time as a teacher but I am comfortable fitting pet care into my daily schedule. I can come home at lunch if needed to care for pets or accommodate to fit your needs.
