Pet care experience
Growing up I cared for my family’s black lab which has grown my love for dogs. Since then I have taken care of my friend’s dogs while they’re on vacation. This also includes assisting my friends in training their puppy from six weeks old and assisting another friend with training their one year old rescue. Additionally I lived with and helped take care of my roommates kitten for two years in graduate school.

Laura was absolutely amazing! She took such good care of our fur babies and home while we were on vacation. She sent lots of picture updates and we could tell that they were so happy and spoiled the whole time. It was so nice to not have to stress about them while we were away. Highly recommend using Laura for your rover needs!

Laura was amazing! We were in a pinch to find a house sitter for our 2 dogs and Laura was available to help us. I highly recommend working with Laura, we received multiple pictures and updates of our dogs. They always looked so happy and that they were having a great time! I plan to work with Laura again in the future!!!
Laura is the best dog care-taker around! She has watched my dogs multiple times and does not just do the necessary tasks of taking care of them but goes above and beyond by playing with them longer than needed and taking them out on walks! She truly cares for the dogs she watches and I have never had any worries about how my dogs are doing when she is with them.

My approach to taking care of pets is based on the individual pets needs and what they consider to be fun. More active dogs and puppies require lots of walks and playtime. This can include chase, tag, fetch, and chew toys. Meanwhile other dogs just want reassurance and all the pets.

Additionally, I’d love to know if your dog has any play preferences or places to go so I can make sure they have the best time. Finally, I’d like to know if your dog has any sort of set routine to make sure they don’t have to adjust too much and become unsettled with change.
A typical day
I am individualistic in my approach to dogs because just like people they have preferences. I have been known to take dogs on drives to go hiking and on walks in nearby parks to let the dogs have new experiences. And if the dogs up for it and able I’ve also gone on short runs to let apartment dogs really get moving. I also love a good game of fetch, tug of war, and chase.
