Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since I was born. I have my own Chihuahua/terrier mix named Maverick who is an active little guy. I’m currently training my dog some new tricks so he can stay off of his leash. I also have cared for my parents senior dogs(age 15+) multiple times while they go on vacation since I grew up with them.

We were incredibly lucky to find Laura to watch our two dogs. She cared for our dogs as if they were her own - she gave them a bath, brushed their teeth, cleaned their ears and eyes. She sent us lots of lovely photos and videos. And we learned a few useful tips about dog care as well.

I have a 2x4 cage in my living room that I use as a a perch for my dog. He loves to sit on top of it. The balcony is also nice since my dog will go sit out there at any time of day. I have tons of dog toys and parks near my apartment to play. Theres even lake access where I live so we can all go play in the water.

Allergies, or anything the dog needs to stay away from. If the dog is not potty trained or has multiple accidents in my house I will charge a small cleaning fee because I let the dogs out enough that there should be no accident. If your dog is very loud and barks a lot I will not be able to host him/her because of my apartment.
A typical day
I go on daily walks with my dogs at parks around the area. I work on some nights(my schedule rotates) so I am gone for almost 8 hours.

Availability
I’ve got school online and work various nights (4-11) so during the day I take my dog out for walks and explore around. I also have a patio that I sit out on frequently to enjoy the weather with. I let him out approximately 5 times per day. Since I am active during the day my dog tends to sleep at night once I leave for work. When I get back I take him out to go to the bathroom before I go to bed.
