WFH Outdoorsy Dog Lover
Pet care experience
I am an open and motivated hard worker who loves dogs as much as people. I work from home with a daily flexible schedule so while you are hard at work during the day I can take your pets for a walk and potty break to break up their day as i also break up my own. I am from Colorado and do not mind the cold or snow and enjoy being outdoors and spending time with animals and learning their personalities. I've traveled internationally and even loved on sweet goats in India (see photos)! My husband and I have two big black lab bloodhound mixes (Chef & Morton) we lost our first big boy in 2017 (great dane/weimaraner mix) who struggled with anxiety so i have experience understanding and calming anxious dogs. I would love to meet you and your dog as we partner together to bring more joy to your pet! You’ll get more pictures than you ever wanted from me because when someone watches my boys I always feel reassured when i see a snuggly picture of them on the couch or smiling out on the walk.

Laura took wonderful care of my dog! After all of our potential sitters that had consisted of friends and family dropped out, we contacted Laura in hopes that she would be able to take care of our precious dog on short notice. Not only did she come in and spend time with us during the initial meet and greet, she was absolutely fantastic with our dog and made a point of making sure we knew that he was well taken care of. For someone who stresses out about leaving their dog with anyone, Laura came above and beyond what we could’ve expected from a first time sitter. We look forward to having her sit for our dog again hopefully many times in the future.
Great communication and made our first experience with rover wonderful.
Laura is amazing! We continue to use her on a regular basis for midday visits to let our dog out and play for a bit in the backyard. She uses the rover app so we know when she arrives, leaves, and we always get a rover card with an update and photo. I have nothing but good things to say about her and my dog loves her :)

At our house we have a fenced-in backyard that backs up to a park and have 2 dogs to keep yours company and (hopefully) wear each other out a bit! Ours free roam but we have enough space to set up a kennel and even give them their own room if helpful. We have a 4 bedroom house and just us two adults living here so plenty of space in and outside.

I’ll need to know how your dog does with other dogs, especially while on leash, so I can think through walks and be ready to turn a different way if necessary. I’d also need to know about any meds, habits, and schedules your dog follows
A typical day
Steps away from south fork park we can take the pups out to sniff beyond the yard, play fetch (if they stick around off leash), and are close to the Nampa Greenbelt. We like to take our dogs to deerflat near Lake Lowell or to the snake river for even more exposure to the great outdoors.

Availability
We take our own dogs for 3 walks per day and as much backyard time as they want. I tend to have more availability on evenings and weekends to walk others dogs and can walk ours together if you are ok with that as well.
