Pet care experience
I have been caring for pets since I was 8 years old. I have three dogs of my own, and I have been pet sitting for cats, dogs, and reptiles since I could drive. I love animals so much, specifically dogs, that after I graduated from a four year university with with a BS in Biology, I went to get certified as a dog trainer through Animal Behavioral College. I am currently available any day of the week, I was working for a cafe locally for about 4 years, I have now decided to go back to school for my masters online and while doing so I am available for flexible or long-term schedules. I have three friendly pups, Kayah the Dane, who’s is 2 years old, I have Pepper a 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, and Hogan a 1 year old Italian Bull Mastiff. They are all very affectionate and love to keep new friends busy. We walk daily either one on one or as a pack at my parents house who has a large piece of land. We also live in a house with a nice sized fenced in yard. I have spare crates if needed and extra bowls for food if needed. My boyfriend lives with me and he is a huge dog lover too! He surprised me with my Dane baby for an anniversary gift. We love all dogs small and large, young and old! I have Rescued several dogs though out the last 10 years and I am trained in Animal First Aid, animal anatomy and physiology, and how to administer medication if necessary.

Couldn’t sing her praises enough!! Laura is (not only) an avid animal lover, caring pet owner and handler, and certified dog trainer. She has extensive knowledge of animal physiology due to a background in biology, so she’s always the first I call when I have a question or concern about something. She is super compassionate about rescue, and is always going above & beyond to help others’ pets. She loves my dogs like her own and I know they’re in amazing hands when she’s around.
Laura is a dog lover through-and-through, kind, considerate, responsible and caring....and the ONLY person I would allow to care for my dogs. I've known Laura her entire life and have never met anyone as in tune with with a dog's needs and the ability to adapt to meet those needs. Not only does she love animals, they just naturally love her, even the most timid. Laura is stable, clean, neat, and trustworthy. I have found her to be professional and experienced. It's worth repeating, I trust her enough to leave my dog family in her care ... and that says it all!
Laura is not only one of the most responsible pet owners I have ever met; she is one of the kindest and caring souls. I’ve known Laura for a few years now and my dog frequently plays with her pack. She is attentive, observing and fast acting. There are not many people I trust with my animals but I can whole heartedly say I trust her with my dogs life! You will not be disappointed in her services and huge heart!
Laura is a wonderful dog sitter. She has always been extremely conscientious and caring with my 85lb Yellow Lab. She was great with him as a 4 month old pup and now as a 6 year old. I highly recommend Laura!

I am fully trained in dog walking, and if I do ever open up for boarding and day care, my house provides fenced in yard, and my eyes on them at all times. I am also trained in first aid for animals and I am able to administer meds and injections as needed.

Your dog must be dog friendly, and ok with a little wrestling. My dogs get a little crazy, but it’s only out of excitement and happiness. They love rolling around together, but also know when to back off, meet and greet is preferable before we jump in head first.
A typical day
All of our dogs have their own walk time, and so will yours! I like to have pack time and one on one time. If you dog stays with me, they will get to experience a pack walk on a large piece of land, and they will enjoy a quiet one on one walk near the creek or in the woods. If they prefer scratchies on the couch, we provide those too!
