Pet care experience
I'm 32 years old and currently a nurse practitioner student at LSUHNO. I've had dogs my entire life and currently own a black labrador retreiver named Layla and a golden retriever named Charlie. I frequently dog sit for family members and I'm pretty accustomed to large breeds such as German Sheperds, huskies, pit bulls, and labradors. I love all types of dogs and will not discriminate against yours! Throughout college, I volunteered for Companion Animal Alliance in Baton Rouge. I've also fostered dogs and helped them find forever homes. I love exercising with my dogs and would love to exercise with yours too!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! My pup Louie had so much fun at Laura's! I missed him while I was away but Laura was really good about sending photos and updates which made me feel at ease! Her home is lovely and in a safe area and her two dogs are so sweet and kept Louie well entertained until it was time for him to come home. I would definitely rebook again and recommend her to anyone who needs to leave their pup in good, caring hands!
Laura was awesome! She was very thorough in keeping me updated on my dog’s stay and how he was doing day-to-day. Loui has a great time! I will definitely be using her again in the future!
Laura is AWESOME!!! I had someone cancel on me the day before I was supposed to travel and she responded within 20 minutes and we set up the booking. She was great with my dog and sent me pictures and updates throughout the week. Highly recommend her!!!!

I have a large fenced in back yard with a pool. If your dog does not love water, no worries! We live one mile away from Lafreniere Park and frequently go to the dog park for play time. We live in a safe neighborhood in Metairie!

A typical day
We will go on walks, go play at the dog park in Lafreniere park, play fetch in the yard, or go for a swim in our pool! For pups that don’t like to swim, we have a splash pad that has proven to be quite fun!
