Your furry friend can still enjoy his/her favorite walking spots, parks, and games while you are away at work or if you have a busy day that needs to be pet free. I enjoy being active and would love to spend time with your dog and get some energy out for the both of us! I live near Hanna Park and the Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens which has nature trails to explore, a great place for dogs. I am passionate about providing a healthy lifestyle to support a balanced dog both mentally and physically. While your puppydog is in my care I will also be sure to reinforce the positive training and behavior you already have in place. I know grooming your pup can be hard to keep up with, especially with long haired breeds that can become matted. If you would like to add grooming to your pets care let me know! I can provide brushing, clipping nails, brushing teeth, ear cleaning, and even clipping the hair out of their eyes. I am a dog groomer with 14 years of professional experience. I have calm energy and patience as well as energy to play and have a good time. My calm nature works well for dogs with anxiety.

Another great experience with Laura. This is the second time she has watched my pups. I really appreciate how she keeps me updated with photos and messages. When I got home, the pups were happy to see me, but not overly filled with energy. I can tell that Laura spends time engaging them and letting them expel all the energy/anxiety that could build up when they are home alone. I highly recommend Laura and will definitely continue to use her for my future dog sitting needs.
So happy with Laura's attention to detail and patience with me, as this was my first time using Rover. We met in person and she came over to my house to meet my dogs, before we committed to the weekend dog sitting. She put up with my anxieties and calmed any concerns I had. I highly recommend Laura and look forward to working with her again.
Laura was great with all 3 of my dogs! I was a little nervous trying Rover for the 1st time, she made me feel very comfortable having her in my home and caring for my boys. She made herself available for a short notice booking and sent pictures and updates to let me know how they were doing. I will not hesitate to book with her again!
This was my first time using Rover and I found Laura. Laura was so sweet! I could tell she really took care of my baby while he was with her. Kobe doesn't really like getting his nails cut/filed (from previous experience) but he was so comfortable with Laura that he let her do it. I would definitely recommend Laura to anyone looking for a dog sitter/dog walker!

A typical day
During your dogs stay with me I will contribute to your dogs training and staying sharp through mental exercise by playing games like "Simon Says". Play hide the treat. I will hide your dog's favorite treat or toy and play hide and seek. It's lots of fun for your dog to use their nose! Running, walking and exploring the neighborhood and/or local parks. I live on the second floor with one set of stairs. If your dog doesn't do well with stairs I can carry them up and down (50lbs at most). I do allow dogs on the furniture and bed but if this is not in your lifestyle at home or you prefer them not to I would be happy to accommodate you. I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a 30 ft lead so they can have freedom in the yard in a safe and secure manner. I will always be outside with them and will not leave them unattended. They will feel safe and cared for with lots of attention and puppy massages.
