Your Pups Home Away From Home (:

Pet care experience

Hello there! My name is Laura, and I offer a very unique, family oriented, dogsitting service. In my home, your pup will have freedom to roam around, as if they were in their own home. I provide a ton of love & affection, cozy dog beds, toys, 2 of my own pups for socialization & play, walks, baths & nail trimming, special needs, and the dogpark. My son, who is 16, will play & cuddle your pup all day long, and even want them to sleep in his bed! Ha! The only thing you will need to provide, is your pups dog food & medications. I believe, "Peace of Mind", is Very Much needed when you leave, & I am here to offer it. You want to enjoy your trip, with no worries whatsoever...& I provide that. My "goal" is to help make you feel as comfortable & at ease, as possible. We are lovers of dogs & all animals, and understand your needs. Someone is always home and your pup(s), will never be neglected. I feel our pets are our "furry children", and should be treated as such. Our pets were put here for us to love, appreciate, & cherish. (: About this sitter: Hello there! To describe myself...I am a Very Positive person, loving, confident, energetic, responsible, & honest. I love all animals, as I grew up with many pets. I had dogs, cats, a pet tortiose named Torty, & a pet squirrel named Nutsy & many others. I was always the child, bringing home injured animals to rescue ♡. I offer my family home setting, with a ton of fun, love & affection. I want for your pet to be comfortable, not stressed, and as if they were in their own home. Someone is Always home, so your pet will never be alone. My son who is 16, loves to play & cuddle, with all our new pets. I offer walks, dog beds, toys, treats, bathing, nail clipping, and the dogpark. I used to be a private dog trainer, so I am very comfortable, with anything, coming my way & just because I did dog training, doesn't mean I'm strict at all. Your pups can come up on the bed with us & sleep with us too! ♡ I believe animals were put here for us to love, appreciate, & cherish.. I really, truly believe this, with all my heart. Why I love dog sitting: Since I was a little girl. My 1st dog was a white poodle named Mopsy, so I grew up with a love for dogs. But, more than anything, I know families really want that "one on one" attention. Sometimes at kennels, their are several pups, and that becomes difficult to provide. I take up to 2 families, at the most, so I can give that individualized attention. Our backyard is probably bigger than our home, & we play a ton of ball & toys back there. In our home, we watch movies, cook dinner, and lay around with the pups♡ If you are interested in my family service, you can schedule a meet & greet with me, to see everything, or just book! I always welcome that ♡♡♡ Meet my pets: I have two weiner dogs, Roscoe & Tritip. They are well socialized & playful & 6+ years old. Tritip, who is 1/2 chuhuahua & weiner dog, became paralyzed for 6+ months, so he is less active. By a miracle, he is walking again, but overweight, due to being stagnant for so long. We have him on prescription diet dogfood, but it seems to not be helping. We just focus on giving him a good, rest of his life♡ Roscoe is a pure breed dachsund & extremely playful. He has no issues, except with small children. We don't know why he has this issue, but he is a rescue dog. At 1st, heis standoffish with other pups, but after about an hour....He is their best friend& playing a ton! (: I also have a cat named Shelby, is extremely docile, and loves dogs, big & small! We believe he thinks he is a dog truly!! HaHa! He has only known dogs, since he was a kitten. *We recently adopted a baby kitten, named Breezer. She is Very Sweet & Playful! She also, has only been around dogs, so she also is not afraid of them. She is So small, but not one fearful bone in her body lol. My only worry is that your pup, only plays with her & doesn't eat her. So, if you think your pup might do that, than mabye my home isn't a good fit. Otherwis, our home is welcoming & a very Happy one ♡♡♡ About my yard: Our backyard is "Huge"! It has a ton of green grass & running space & all the fencing is completely safe and secure. Your dog will not be able to escape my yard. Lots of ball & running, & sunbathing, takes place back there haha♡ (: My experience administering medication Absolutely! Have done this many times, both with pills & injection/IV's.

We were visiting our daughter at college and when she asked us to stay an extra day, our first concern was could Laura watch Shay an extra night. Laura was able to help us out and we were so grateful to get the extra time with our daughter. Shay had a great time!!

Shay had a great time at Laura's. We can tell because when we got there, Shay wasn't in a hurry to come home. :) Laura sent us many texts and pictures during Shay's stay. We are very comfortable leaving our pup with Laura and her family. Thank you Laura.

Information Laura G. would like to know about your pet

The only things I worry about & don't welcome, are these behaviors: #1: People/Animal Aggressive, biting, snipping #2: Need to be Potty Trained (Although, I do know accidents happen & that's OK) #3: Fleas Yuck!! Please make "Sure" your dogs Do Not have fleas, upon arrival. #4: Constant Barking (Barking is OK, as it's normal...But, excessive barking only causes stress for everyone & our dogs.) Thank You♡

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks My neighborhood, the school, parks, duck pond trails, & dogpark. I have a very green, clean, and dog friendly park next to my house (: Your dog's sleeping arrangement: A dog bed, or human bed upon request. I pretty much let the dog decide, where he/she feels most comfortable. A dog usually prefers to onnect with one person & want to sleep where that person is~usually my 12 year old son or myself...(: Time I'll spend with your dog All day/Night Their is always someone home (:♡♡♡
