I am a dog lover who has wanted a dog their whole life, but never had the opportunity. I have volunteered at dog shelters for several years where I have learned tips and tricks for dealing with different behaviors. I will love going for walks just as much if not more than your dog! I will give them cuddles and make them feel comfortable while away from you. I am patient and I will make sure to stick with rules (if any) you give me. I am available most weekdays AFTER 3pm- if you give me a few days notice I can adjust my schedule to fit yours. I can be available all day on weekends I just ask for a heads up so I don't make other plans. I live in the Dunbar area right next to Pacific Spirit Park. I'm okay with watching cats, but I have an allergy to cat litter. I prefer only house sitting in homes with outdoor cats, indoor is fine as long as I do not have to change the litter.

Laura was a wonderful sitter! Our dog is getting a bit elderly, and Laura showed her plenty of love and affection while we were away. We received thoughtful updates and photos, and Laura took great care of the house as well. Our dog is so much happier staying in her own home than going to a kennel when we have to be away, and it gave us such peace of mind to know that she was content and well taken care of by Laura. We highly recommend Laura and hope to have opportunities to work with her again!
Laura was absolutely great with Jameson. She took him for walks and sent me pictures of him all weekend. I would highly recommend Laura.
Our canine kids are always in good hands when Laura visits.
Loved Laura! She took care of our difficult pup while we were away for a weekend. My dog is young, needy, and heartworm positive so there were exercise restrictions and medications involved. My dog threw up one morning and Laura let me know, cleaned it up, and asked if I wanted her to stop giving treats and chews. She updated me as time went on and Kaia started to feel better. She sent lots of pictures and took great care of my apartment. I was really nervous about hiring a stranger, but it couldn't have gone better. I will definitely look to hire Laura again if she's willing to come back!
